Meet your teacher: KIMI BROADBENT
Kimi is has a unique ability to make complex movement patterns both fun and understandable. Her warm, playful and patient approach allows clients to progress at a comfortable pace and her vast knowledge of repertoire keeps sessions consistent with client goals, but also fresh and inspiring.
With 17 years of experience in Pilates and movement therapy, Kimi Broadbent is recognised as one of Australia’s leading educators in her field. She spent 10 years training therapists and instructors for their diploma studies in Pilates for the internationally recognised Polestar Pilates, and for the last 3 years has become the Victorian Educator for Body Organics Education where she continues to produce the next generation of aspiring movement teachers.
Kimi holds the highest level of membership with the Pilates Association of Australia and has presented on topics such as Pregnancy and Shoulder Rehabilitation interstate and at national conferences. She also came 3rd in the world in the US Pilates Anytime Next Teacher competition in 2018 which was subject to votes from Pilates teachers internationally.
Outside the studio, she’s a mum to 2 young girls and a silly lab x Goldie named Ollie.
